By participating on the tours conducted by Savor Italy Tours, you have read, understood and agreed to the Company’s waiver and release of claims:
Cancellation Policy: All tickets/tours sold are nonrefundable during the high season ( except for 15 days cancelation in advance with proof of very special circumstances and the refund request will be reviewed case by case). The high season here is defined as the period from April 15 to September 30 and November 15 to December 30 every year. During the rest of the year, normal refund policy applies. We may be able to offer alternative days to attend depending on availability. When we may be forced to cancel a tour due to not meeting the minimum number of 6 participants to conduct a tour, weather conditions or other circumstances, your ticket will be refunded in full.
Currency exchange rate: All of the bookings on our website are in US Dollars because this is where our payment processor is located, so if you would like to pay in a different currency please contact us. When you make the payment in US dollars, and for some reasons, you decide to cancel the tour and it is possible for you to get a refund per our term and condition, we will refund the full amount that we receive, not the commission of your bank when you pay in a different currency other than US dollars and Euros. Since we have no way of knowing how much your bank charges for commission for currency exchanges if you pay in the currency that is not US dollars or Euros, so if there is a discrepancy, we are not responsible for what your bank charges you for the difference in the currency exchange, and we highly recommend you to contact your bank instead. In short, we will refund you in full in U.S dollars, but we are not responsible for the currency exchange commission charged by your bank in case you pay in a different currency.
Checking in: Please have your tickets or voucher ready to show to the tour guide.
Arriving late: Please note that tour guides are not allowed to wait for guests arriving late. Please make sure to make the necessary arrangements to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the tour. If you arrive late and do not inform us well in advanced, your tour is considered a no show, and it is canceled, and you would have to book a new date.
Minimum participants: please note that we conduct the tours with a minimum of 6 people. If the minimum is not met, we reserve the right to cancel the tour and give alternative days to attend and/or refund the tickets.
Weather Conditions: We conduct tours rain or shine. You are advised to carry an umbrella and dress appropriately for weather conditions. If the tour started, and in the event of severe lightning, your tour guide will suspend the tour at his/her discretion. If tour was suspended, you will be reimbursed for partial or full price of ticket depending on the time the tour was suspended. If the tour is suspended at the beginning of the tour, you will receive full payment. If tour guide did not suspend the tour but you do not want to continue with the tour due to rain, you will not get reimbursed for the ticket(s). You are responsible for yourself and your own safety.
Dietary restrictions: We accommodate vegetarians and most food restrictions. Please contact us in advance if you have any special requests.
Savor Italy Tours is not responsible for the foods or beverages consumed on its tours. Savor Italy Tours acts solely as an agent in arranging tours, transportation, venue visits and other services and does not assume liability for accidents, delays, injuries, loss or damage due to any act or default of any company, organization or person engaged in transporting passengers, rendering service, or carrying out arrangements for any tour or by the act of default of any restaurant or shop or its employees. By agreeing to participate in our tour, you agree to this condition.
Right to Distribute Media: You agree to grant the Company a royalty-free worldwide license to use photos and videos taken on its tours in which you may appear. The Company has the right to reproduce, distribute, broadcast, exhibit, edit, digitalize or in any other way use the Material by any means and in any form of media, whether existing now or created later, without restriction worldwide, by incorporating the Material into its website, catalogs, books, brochures, magazines or any other publications, or any informational, commercial, promotional or advertising material (henceforth known collectively as the “Works”). You agree that the company is and shall be the exclusive owner of all title, rights and interest in the Material and the Works, including copyright thereof.
